When you are looking for a landscaper in Canberra, the first question is usually whether they will come to your street. ACT House & Landscaping Maintenance works right across Canberra, and this page sorts our local pages into five districts. Start with your district, then open the suburb page for the job you have in mind. If your suburb is not listed, call 0406 700 400 and ask, because these pages are not the limit of where we work.
Canberra’s northern-most district, mostly newer suburbs such as Taylor, Throsby and Moncrieff, covered through five local guides.
The north-west, from long-settled Kaleen to the new Ginninderry estates, with pages for Kaleen and the whole district.
The far south, with pages for Calwell and the district, plus guides for Kambah, Wanniassa and Greenway.
Older Woden suburbs, neighbouring Deakin and the young Molonglo Valley estates, grouped on one page.
Braddon and Lyneham north of the lake, Barton, Forrest, Griffith and Kingston south of it, with a commercial focus in Braddon.
Each link below goes to a page written for that place and that service. Gungahlin has no suburb pages yet, so its district page is the place to start.
The list mixes two kinds of place. Braddon, Calwell, Barton, Forrest, Deakin, Griffith, Kingston, Lyneham and Kaleen are suburbs. Tuggeranong, Woden Valley and Belconnen are districts: larger areas made up of many suburbs, each with its own town centre. A district page covers the suburbs inside it, so if you live in Kambah or Wanniassa, the Tuggeranong pages apply to you.
Our five district pages work one level up again. Each one names the suburbs the district takes in, links the suburb pages and gathers the local guides we have written for that part of Canberra.
Many projects need more than one, such as earthmoving before a new garden goes in. One project manager looks after the whole job.
A quick call goes further with a few details ready. Give us the suburb and street, so we can confirm it is in our area and plan the visit. Describe the job in plain words, such as levelling a backyard, replacing a timber wall or clearing gutters, and say whether it is a home, a rental or a business. Mention access, because a narrow side gate or a steep driveway changes which machine or approach suits the site. Photos help too, and you can send them through the contact form with your message.
From there, we arrange a time to look at the job and talk it through with you. You can reach us any day of the week from 8am until 8pm.
Every page here was written for that place, using public facts such as the ACT Government’s district strategies, ABS Census figures and heritage records, rather than the same text with a different suburb name. That way you can see how the job is likely to differ in your area before you call.
If you are deciding between local firms, our Canberra landscapers page explains who does the work and how a project runs, and the client testimonials are worth a read too.
The list shows the places with their own page, not every suburb we work in. Ring 0406 700 400 with your suburb and a short description of the job, and we will tell you.
Each district page names the suburbs it takes in, drawn from the ACT Government’s district strategies. If you still cannot find yours, give us a call.
Yes. ACT House & Landscaping Maintenance is one Canberra business, and Abs and the team work across all of these areas.
